This story is going rigt up there with one of my favorites. I love it. It has a lot of sentimental value to it and... well it's incredible. Loved the lines: "Sherry is gone, and the two of you are together," Frasier said, smiling. "This does call for a toast!" LOL.

I am so glad you wrote this story. It climbs to a certain level of romance and seems to stay right there. Love it!

Incredible chapter. This story is so good. I like the way Niles is ready to go crazy, but shows composure for the respect of Daphne. Loving this story.

AWESOME CHAPTER. LOVED THE LINES: "She walked to the foot of the stairs just as Niles was about to go back into the kitchen. She looked back at him, and was surprised when her heart skipped a beat as she looked into his eyes." at the end of this chapter! WELL DONE :)

OH, WOW. I am so excited to start reading this story. I believe this was one of my "what if"s postings on the message board. I knew I would find this one some day. WOW! So excited about this. Love where this is going. In your last line in this chapter "She was now lying down in a way that made it hard to tell if she had merely fallen asleep, or if it was something much more serious." I am wondering what "more serious" meant. Darn, in 5 hours I'll be catching my flight out. Might not be able to read more for a while :(

Awww! I loved it! You know I was melting when she called him "Niles" and when they were holding hands. Loved Martin-so in character here and Frasier as well. Frasier's comment about toasting b/c Sheri is gone was hilarious, BTW! And of course I always love a happy ending!
