I am simply speechless. This is just really beautiful. The song is beautiful, the story is beautiful, the whole soft dream-like atmosphere that flowed perfectly, it left me feeling nostalgic and... It moved me. It is simply beautiful, I can't find the words to say how much. You captured the essence of ShikaTema, and wrote it all so adorably and light-heartedly, and I can't help but fall in love with it. It's definitely my favorite ShikaTema. And I mean it. A thousand congratulations, you did it perfectly.

I read this and favorited this a while ago, but I never had time to review it until now. I just want to let you know how completely AMAZING this story is. The way you told that story was beautiful, and I loved it. It was real and sincere, and not the slightest bit OOC. To me, ShikaTema is one of the most complicated pairs to write about, partly because the two have such strong, different, and complex personalities. You are seriously a genius to be able to pull this off. I hope that you continue to write stories like these. I'd like to see more from you with Shikamaru- you really write his character well. Thank you so much for this wonderful story. You really made my day when I read it. :)

I really like the idea of telling a Shika/Tema lovestory not only in flashback, but also just through little snapshots. Your characterization of the relationship and interaction between Shikamaru and his dad and Shikamaru at Asuma's grave were some of the best parts in my opinion.

I think the pacing began to lag in the second half of the story, and it would have benefitted from editing out a couple of the scenes, but overall this is a really good story.

This was such a lovely Shikamaru/Temari story! Thank you so much, I can really believe their relationship came about in just this way. I love how you wove canon moments in with gap-filling moments, so we get a picture of how it all fits in the time line. Everyone was so in character, it was marvelous! Shikamaru's my favorite character and you portrayed him perfectly.

Thanks again, this is one I plan to reread over and over again.

Usually just seeing the term 'song fic' is enough to have me clicking the back-button, but this was a really good read.
