I really really enjoyed how you gave a nice ending for all characters, without hurting their feelings or changing their beliefs/morals. That is really a great happy ending 3

i hadn't logged in on this site in ages, like FOREVER...and i'd started clicking through some of my favorite stories on here and i came across this one, and i realized i'd never actually finished reading it.

so i just read the whole thing.
it was everything i didn't know i needed it to be the first time i started reading it, up till now reading it to completion.
i liked everything about this.

Great read! It was nice that Derek struggled with his principles. A lot of people want things, but they hold back because of values, not necessarily bad, beaten into them from a young age. The part about Reid's eyes sending chills to Morgan made me a little sad. Thanks from a reader in the year 2017.

This was lovely, sweet tender poignant. Happy that it all worked out. Glad the boys saved themselves for each other even if they thought they'd never see each other again. Love that last little tease of Spencer making Morgan think he was still angry with him. You seem to have nailed the slang of the era. Just a bit thrown by Reid's long hair. Menwore their hair quite short in the 30s but it's your and I assume you like his hair longer. Hot sex scenes but also sweet and loving. Glad Morgan decided to be with him.

Seds, I thought of that myself, but it's fiction, and while even fiction writers usually stick the the reality of a particular time period, I knew this story was abt Morgan and Reid, and therefore suspension of disbelief is part of the deal when we reid the story. Good job. Just to make the point, Morgan probably wouldn't attain thatv position either but again suspension and all that. Loved the beginning. Reminder to readers too, this is long before AIDS too, so no, no condoms.

Why is it imposabul to love two people

I get Morgan having trouble shareing
But why is it imposabul for Reid to love Garcya and Morgan equally and why would loving one make the outher tarnished

To clarify the segregation issue, black people were permitted to "perform" sing, dance, play in a band, but they were in white establishments, closed to black audiences. So, Reid could legally perform where he did as long as it was for white audiences only.

This is one of the best fics I've read in a long... long while. I don't know How in the hell you came up with the plot, but it was marvelous. You made it seem like we were Back in a different era, with the word choice and outfit descriptions. The whole story with Pen, Reid, Em? Wow. You have a great deal of talent. Then, of course, the boys play time. Yummy lol. I am curious as to where JJ was?

Anyways, absolutely marvelous! Can't wait to read more!

So I was browsing the forums randomly sing as how I'm a fairly new member, looking for something to do. Came across CCOAC and the Profilers choice awards... blahblahblah

I read this in one sitting and found it amazing. The characters were so believable and identifiable even in the foreign setting, and the 30's vibe was amazing! From the visuals to the culture and even the lingo...It was like I was reading a book written IN the time period (which I have done) The double romance, the drama, the heartache, the happiness, the conflict, and of cores the yummy smexyness all mushed together to form one of the most beautiful fics I have ever read! Thank you so much for gracing the fic world with your amazing talent and congrats on all of your recognition on CCOAC!

I go now to bed, and when I wake up in the morning I will visit your profile and read more of your stuff which I'm sure is just as great as this is!
