Guest chapter 4 . 1/6/2018 How disappointing, another decent pokemon fic giving up on by some who got lazy and doesn't care anymore. |
falconer54 chapter 1 . 4/6/2017 Thr last part made me laugh. Poor Ho-oh. |
HyperspaceGamer chapter 4 . 12/7/2016 I love the story so far, and I can't wait for some updates! Anyways, I know it's for the the plot, but if Ash is supposedly smart than he was in the anime, don't you think that he should have realized that returning his Pokemon to their balls would have been the best choice. Immediately after he was alerted to the Spearow and started running, he should have returned both. I know that Pikachu isn't a fan of his poke ball, at all, but safety should come first before comfort. And by returning his Pokemon to their balls, they wouldn't have gotten hurt (especially Seardra), and Ash would have been able to travel much faster without being impeded by the weight of traveling with two Pokemon. I get running with Pikachu isn't that big of a deal, as he is a small Pokemon and doesn't weigh much, but Seadra would cause a problem, as she is nearly 4' tall and over 50lbs. Running, or even cycling, with something like that slowing you down, is not as easy as doing so unhindered by such an object. Also, and this part is of a lot less importance, but I don't think a Pokemon as big as Seadra would be able to fit in the front basket of a bicycle. It'd be like trying to have a kid, someone about the size of Max, try to sit in there. Maybe if Seadra was only a Horsea, as she'd be smaller and much lighter, but as she is, it's a no go. Oh, and I don't really remember the gender of Ash's Seadra, just female is the default gender that comes to mind. |
HyperspaceGamer chapter 2 . 12/3/2016 Forgot to say this in my review of chapter 3, but Ash beating Prof. Oak has officially marked him as having beaten a former champion. At least, if you're taking certain aspects from the Pokémon manga universe, as Prof. Oak is a former champion in it. Thus, Ash beating Oak means he's beat a former champion of Kanto. |
HyperspaceGamer chapter 3 . 12/3/2016 I hate how the anime and some other media always talk about how electric attacks don't work on rock types, as if they are immune or even resistant to them. Electric attacks are neutral towards rock types, not "not very effective" and definitely not ineffective either. It's electric vs ground that is the immunity, yet the anime and various other media (various FanFiction stories) have completely skewered this. Also, is the Seadra/Ash dynamic/relationship going to be the same, or at least the equivalent of that of Charizard/Ash from the anime? That'd be cool, I guess. |
HyperspaceGamer chapter 1 . 12/2/2016 I love the little bit at the end about Ho-Oh. As if him seeing Ho-Oh on the first day of his journey wasn't just happenstance, but was actually a deliberate plan made by the Legendaries; maybe by Ho-Oh, or maybe even by Arceus him(her/it)self. |
Phartu chapter 1 . 6/3/2016 Heh, those Pokemon league officials ruined magnificent exhibitionist plan of Ho-oh. lol |

Memory25 chapter 3 . 9/10/2015 And then Ho-Oh has to fly all the way back home again. Cough. *Little brat, making me wait outside his house until I could fly over him, I should squash him a little to teach him a lesson* |
