I cried a lot reading this chapterit's so heartbreaking when little Bella asks about her mother.

And Harry’s witty monologue about buying a donkey and forge to complete his horse-and-cart fantasy was GOLD! “Seth, where did you come from?” “Leah, played outside too much.” And of course…. That bitch. In every other paragraph. Your smart-ass comedy quips give me LIFE!

I'm not sure I can accurately describe how much I love this story

Okay, I don't think anyone could make me care about EVERYONE on the Reservation and the Swan family at the same time, but you somehow managed it. I suspect you are probably not the writer this book series deserves, just the one it was fortunate to have right now.

this remains one of the best fanfictions i have ever read in my life. i love everything about it. the recurring motifs (milk! oh my god im gonna fucking cry), the characterization, the way bella is a better person having been raised by charlie and a stable mother figure to emulate, the sarah-bella relationship and the parallels, the parallels between sue-sarah and leah-bella, the way bella mediates everyone, rach'n'beck, the shifting point of view, edward cullen gets kicked to the curb, the sam/leah relationship, seth (the perfect napper lmao), the jake/bella relationship, bella as the school librarian (this is so perfect!), leah loving dragons and my side of the mountain and philosophy, harry-leah, the spring!, the child voices, when sarah is ready to fucking clock the shit out of renee, "do you miss your mother?" "yeah all the time-oh, renee. no, not so much", "Parents/Spouses Can Die", the postpartum depression (poor sarah), bella sending the cookies (jakes the only one who still thinks charlie can bake!), seth is sneaky, god the FEELS about sarah black and how she was bella's "real" mom and how she WOULD'VE been bella's mom if she'd lived to see jake/bella get married, the crayon house plan jacob still has, agH! i love this story. like, no matter how far i get from the twilight fandom, i still sometimes come back to read this fic in the way that people reread their favorite books. this is one of my favorite stories to read. i love everything about it and you are one of my favorite author/writers. thanks so much for writing this. for real: i cry every single time i read it ("they have to nail sarah black's coffin shut" FUCkS ME UP).
