This is just pure genius. I don't have the words to express just how much I lobe this story nor the ability to name the emotions they made me feel.
This kind of amazing story is the type of Edward actually living war through military stories that I love.

Wow. There’s depth in here that I absolutely love. Skirting round the mental health issues of all the soilders was fabulous, not to mention the burgeoning guilt complexes of the Elric brothers. Thank you for sharing!

That was really good. Especially Edward's protests but he eventually fights anyway. His reaction to Mandy's death was especially well written.

This fic was great. Very well thought out and written. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. The "toy-fort" is so Edward-like XD Thank you for this.

A fun, well paced tale! I like how all the characters toggle their view of Edward (himself included) as aims and circumstances shift.

Edward's fear of somehow being used to take life and the horrors he witnesses are rendered with gut wrenching simplicity. Thank you for sharing. :)

Wow. Brilliantly written story... but it made my heart hurt. No child should be in a war zone, much less fighting in a war zone, much less in charge.

Thanks for writing and posting the story! I loved the epilogue and Roy's reaction. There is something soothing in the fact that Roy can still make Ed react like the 13 year old that he is but doesn't act most of the time.

This was amazingly well written. You could feel the struggle between duty and responsibility. That last bit with Mustang was a perfect wrap up.
