This remains one of the best pieces of fic, fan or orig, that I've ever read. It deserves closure.

Please. Come back long enough to finish. Or even just tell us how it ended.

Well, this is one of the best Witchblade fanfics I've ever read. The flashbacks themselves are just superb, and then add to that the current state of affairs, how Ian functions in a "normal" job. I do wish this story will have more chapters...

..as it seems the url that was posted earlier that supposedly contained a 10th chapter is not working anymore :(

This piece is amazing. I started reading when you were still updating and was amazed at your style - very clear, shifting easily between funny, ironic, intense, and all the shades in-between. I was more amazed by the fact that you had created a set based almost entirely on original characters, and gave those characters very authentic personalities, dialects, attitudes, such that they became as real as any on the show, perhaps more so after the show started to go into decline. I also liked the fact that you created this set of vibrant, but somewhat stock characters to build an archetypal setup of a upper-class American family, and then introduced Ian. Who is... different.

I have to agree with thelma and all the others who have begged you to update. Usually a fic left alone this long dies, but you said you already had the roughs of 10 and 11, the final chapters, so I was hoping that you could post them here or on your site. It's a good story and I just think it should be finished, however roughly, for its own sake.

I too found myself becoming disenchanted with Season 2 with each progressive episode. Rather disappointing since the movie and Season 1 was so enjoyable. I am overjoyed to hear there will be more installments. Thanks for sharing. Toodles.

I adore your depiction of Ian's pathetic, warped POV. It jives completely with EE's portrayal. And Evil Ian has always been my favorite; thanks for giving him the lead. Just so irresistably sexy, as subtle as a punch in the stomach. Nothing delicate about him.

I miss the relationship with Sara. Hope that's in your plans.

I was beginning to think you would never come back. But thank goodness you did. I agree, I was not happy with the way this year was going, so I have decided for all intents and purposes that this year just didn't happen. I see you have done just about the same. Keep it up.

Note from the author- sorry for posting it here- but I didn't want to add it as a 'chapter' and get folks' hopes up it was a real 'update'. Ch. 10 is actually done as a rough draft, but posting may still be slow due to the nature of the ending.

I don't want to spoil things too much, but let's just say the story only has 11 chapters- BUT, there's a 4/5 chapter 'Epilogue', most of which is set PRIOR to chapters 10 and 11. Um- and thus 10 and 11 will probably need continued revisions as the epilogue takes shape. Continuity and foreshadowing are a bitch- what can I say.

So- posting's going to be slow- but when I'm finally done, you'll get a big glut of chapters all at once. I know that's a pain, but ch. 10 can't possibly be considered really 'finished' until I've also finished the first chapter in the epilogue. Confused... yea, me too. Sorry!

(I may stick up 'beta' drafts on my website- - but I really don't like making betas available to the public, so that will only happen if it's taking me FOREVER to get the first eppy chapter done. The last epyy chapter is almost done, but what can I say- I don't write in a linear fashion!)

Please could you aleast give a hint as to when the next chapter comes out Pretty Please.

The story is good and riviting the storyline is great the charatcers beleavable (sorry can't spell very well) This is somthing that you could beleive would happen. It would have made a great storyline for the series if it hadn't been cancelled.

I check every day in hopes that you have posted another great chapter.
