Interesting take on program biology. I've rarely seen a fic that claims programs have heartbeats or regular breathing in the Grid-they don't seem to have internal organs, if the way they shatter is a clue.

I'm also a bit curious on why Sam needs so long. The time differential between the Grid and the user world works out to about 1:50. By asking for a whole day, Sam's trying to get stuck there for over a month. The ten hours he bargained down to still means 20 days worth of Grid-time to wander around. Unless he meant 10 hours in-Grid, in which case Quorra will be warping him out in 12 minutes on her end, and they can go out for Chinese food without a problem.

Your description of Sam's accidental circuit-stimulation made me laugh. :D Onesided too; Tron was out of it. The way he swatted Sam away in his sleep seemed both amusing and mildly sad. Tronzler probably had enough of his disk being tampered with to last forever. *shakes head*
