I've read a lot the past few days, where Sam always known she was in love with Freddie, or that she's been in love with him since the kiss. I don't think she has personally, so it's nice that she was confused and jumbled up, and I didn't have a problem following it, so good job. Yes, you mentioned she's matured, but I believe they're supposed to be in 9th grade (possibly 10th)so they should have matured from their younger selves. Obviously. I really liked this. |

| I Slay Darkness With Belief chapter 1 . 4/12/2011 Wow, I really really like this. It's a really great perspective and way to write it. I thought the point of view you used was interesting- the present tense isn't used too often. Everything's usually in the past, and I liked the style of writing you used. I'm pretty sure I'm the first reviewer, and that's shocking because of how amazing this is. I really REALLY like it... I think you captured Sam's thoughts and feelings really well. One thing I might've added was her resistance to accept the fact that she really was in love with Freddie. I think she'd be a bit more hesitant and un-accepting...
