Absolutely beautiful! If only it went like this...

I understand human nature being what it is that love often times doesn't make sense. So its not really about Bella having any. But Dedweird and Bella had the same essential flaw. Neither wanted to be with who they were with. They wanted to be with who they THOUGHT they were with. Dedward had a very strange sense of morals for a dedad mass murderer. He could read most female minds. Because of what he was and since this is the 21st century women had sexual thoughts. He found those thoughts AND he women who had them repulsive. Even though Bella as the narative clearly stated had them Dedward couldnt hear them. so he managed to tell himself that Bella was something she wasnt. The problem was Bella had to play a part. She had to be what Dedward thought she was. Bella whole attatachment was based on what Dedweird looked like Bella nevr mentioned anything about WHO he was. The few times she discovered a few things about his character she didnt like it very much so she stuck her head in the sand. She imagined him as one of those tragic figures in the books she read except he wasnt. Bella was more like a loved pet to dedward. A pet you need to watch and look out for and basically run their life. That was the problem there was no substance to the relationship. It was all manipulation and deceit. No foundation. Nothing real

Bella kind hearted as she is. Took Jakes gesture at her wedding and threw it right in his face.. I think Jake is a really different kind of character and I hate what Meyer and far too many fanficcers did/do to him.

Finally Bella with some measure of sense! I LOVED this! I think I'll be replacing what happend in BD with this, it's just much better. I like the way you let it know that they were just pretending not to be hurting, all of them, including Edward but at the end they were able to look pass the pain. Nice work. One of my faves for sure.

Awesome... that's the way it should have happened! And the picture I get of her asking about "the bike" and them running off it is precious! Won't Charlie be thrilled ! Great job.

Good for her. It's gotta be tough, awkward, and embarrassig to call off a wedding...and hard, especially when you really had nothing to do with it. But it was easy as breathing this time. ;)

the wedding juggernaut is damn hard to slow down when it gets going - especially when it is driven by one alice cullen - usually brides are nervous enough, but when they are literally giving up everything you could forgive her for having larger doubts than a normal bride - thanks goodness Jake started running in the right direction

Beautiful hun, there is much more to say than that. I envisioned this so many times in different ways, even when reading B/D. I really wanted Bella to have that change of heart! You al;ways amaze me how right you get these two! Thank you for sharing! ;-)
