Meh, this is getting somewhat drab actually. As badass as Mercer is, I was hoping that 242 was going to get this position. Mostly, because of the simple fact that he was more or less the main focus of this series, of a sort. Whilst I can understand, most definitely, the whole 'don't turn your fanfic into a novel based upon the universe', it would have been nice had 242 played some kind of more significant role then currently. :( He's dead, and you're an asshole. *Sniff* HE SHALL SURELY BE MISSED. *Sniff*

I really like the idea of the unwilling Alex being forced to work for the very company he so desperately hates, by force of his own body.

I've been following this fic since you started, and I'm a sucker for this sort of premise, so I've been enjoying it a lot. What you have here is really promising. Your writing style is relatively solid, but you could use some work on descriptors and prose.

I think the biggest issue is your lack of description. You're letting dialogue tell most of the story, and while that dialogue is good for the most part, it's really not enough for the audience to easily follow what's going on. It's easy to get confused when multiple people are talking and there are no speech tags to let us know who is who.

I'm also not not really feeling the first-person narration, either. The character's voice just doesn't feel like Alex. I read your first fic, and both narrators are exactly the same. There needs to be some hint of individuality there, or else we're just reading a fic from the author's POV.
