I love it :) I do like it when you write in a more obscure style, it makes it very fresh and interesting - and I can rely on you to always do it with flair! This was kind of angsty... but kind of not at the same time... it just perfectly summed up their friendship - the way that Merlin's influence has brought out the better side of Arthur, without either of them necessarily realising it, and the way that they have become friends without either of them intending to... I can completely see Arthur reacting just like this in the show, actually. It feels very in character - the writing was also similar to the way an inner monologue of Arthur's might sound... it was just nice, true to the characters and very well done :) |
