I think that's like him not thinking there's anything odd about it really. However, Kurt says "Cat?" with a question mark. I think that's more like "Oh, this is a very organised, proper office. Wait, why is there a cat?" a bit more surprised. I like how Richard then says "That seems to be the general idea." (sorry, can't remember the exact words).
Anyway, sorry about the messed up split review, at least you get two reviews (you deserve them!) Please continue your story, I'm going to sound really weird but I find Jane's relationship with Annabelle and people's reactions very interesting. I wonder how a meeting with Brittany and Lord Tubbington would go?

I think that people only take Jane seriously because they're scared of her, a bit like Sue Sylvester. However, I found the first 'cat' scene very funny and interesting.
Richard and Blaine both say "cat". To me, Richard's was like he already knew both Jane and Annabelle, so he's saying it like "Hello, Jane, (hello) cat." Blaine is different, his is more "Oh, there's a cat.

Oh. Hey, I've come to the most recent chapter...and this story was last updated 6 months ago...well, yeah.

But really, I love this story, it's so fucking fantastic. I can't stop reading once I've started- and now I've come to the 'end' for now at least...

Jane and Annabel...well, Jane having Annabel at the office with her is admittedly different, but I like the different-ness of it.
