I'm sufficiently creeped out. I wasn't even sure if Mai would be rescued or if she'd be stuck with Koh forever. This really worked because Mai is someone who hid what she felt many times in book 2 and 3, and being able to fully express herself was cathartic. Wonderfully written story!

this is absolutely horrifying. mai finally able to have a breakdown after so long felt relieving.

That was creepy as fuck but I am SO glad you made her escape! Because the whole tragic "then they died! What a twist!" Is so over done.

This story is fantastic: the concept, the presentation, and the overall feel of it. It was definitely creepy and emotional. You did a great job exploring Mai's and Koh's personalities - this is one of the best short stories I've ever read.
