I noticed an erroe here. Zhao is dead. Remember how he was killed at the end of the first season? Still good chapter.

Aw that was a sweet moment between the siblings, though I think they would have started calling at least one of the couples mom and dad.

“Post Mortem” Chapter 36

I'm so sorry about your mother. I'll pray for her, and for you and your family.

I'm kind of surprised that Ipitok still counts himself an Equalist, considering what happened with the fire. (I had to look back to check what had happened; it's hard to remember with such long breaks between chapters.) On the other hand, I liked that we saw some sibling bonding between Kian and Ipitok, and that they talk about their parents. I like Kian's character: she seems to have Korra's drive and determination, but is grounded by the same pressure that Aang had to master the elements and save the world.

Line breaks would be helpful, make it easier to read. There seems to be a word missing from the opening sentence: “Kian wasn't exactly how she expected Anil to look and sound like when she saw him again.” I think that “furthering” should be “further”. During the flashback to Aang's memories, I think “as” was supposed to be “at”. I think there might have been a word missing from “I'll be in a minute.” You say that Ipitok “looked at the grown”.

Overall, I like this format for a chapter, better than the ones that were jam-packed with developments over the years. Thank you for this update!

Katara did more than love Aang. She was his soulmate. But, I suppose if both Mai and Aang passed, Zutara could be possible.

I am now clinically depressed because of you. you should feel ashamed! Hurting my poor heart by killing our beloved aang... and with excellent writing! I HATE YOU! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO KATAANG! *runs into a corner and sobs terribly* but seriously, this is one of the best written stories I've ever seen. and I mean like EVER. This is better written than Eragon and the Inheritance Cycle.

I was wondering when we'd see an update! I'm pleased that this story is still going.

I think “that seeping” should be “that seeped.” In reference to Ipitok you said “his arms crossed in front of her chest.” “Bolder” should be “boulder.” “If I wouldn't have been burnt” should be “If I hadn't been burnt.” You said “areas of great” instead of “areas of grey.”

I love this line: "Maybe, Zuzu, when this is all over, we can bicker over the throne like normal siblings."

The ending was confusing, for two reasons. 1: Azula was the one who killed Aang? Not Ozai? The start of this chapter was all about Aang's death at Wulong Forest, but Kian's flashback during the lightning lesson made it seem like it was at the Crystal Catacombs. 2: All of a sudden they're back in Shintashi? No transition besides the bison ride? Did Kian learn anything about lightning? Do they have a plan for what to do next?

I really think the last two lines would fit better at the start of the next chapter than at the end of this one. But, the reappearance of Anil is kind of promising. Will he play more of a role in the story?
