Strong Sookie without the worry that she is wanted for her telepathy was nice to read. And no Bill Compton was a plus.

Great story! Loved the various plot lines. Shows a smarter Sookie who discovers that being blind to vampire politics isn't the way to go. Eric is almost perfect canon, you really don't know what he is really thinking. He's survived 1000 years using his instincts and expects Sookie to understand and accept his word as final. Eventually he learns to compromise in order for their relationship to work. They both risk their lives to save each other multiple times. Great ending! Would love to see Part II. Thank you so much for sharing your story!

Nice story. Some chapters without nice Eric/Sookie moments felt quite long though, but I guess that's because I read the SVM fan fics mostly for those moments :) Grear writing overall, anyhow! Thanks for sharing the story!

Where was the romance? There was way more sex than it needed but it wasn't romantic at all. I think you should take that classification off.

Great adventure story! This Sookie is a far cry from the backwaters one from canon and it is a refreshing read... She doesn't become a victim of vampires and instead becomes almost a 'secret agent'. I loved that! The entire plot is completely original so plenty of surprises in a relatively short story... Eric & Sookie don't exactly become a couple in the traditional romantic sense but their alliance and sexual chemistry make up for the limited 'dating' - I would have loved to read a sequel/part 2 when there are real feelings (beyond the tactical alliance) but I enjoyed this story on its own. Sookie's virtue surviving while in Auguste's care was not all that easy to believe esp. with his centuries long grudge against Eric... but that is a small qualm... Perhaps he really wasn't that bothered about waiting since Vampires expect to live forever...
