there was an episode called The Hunted in the show Are You Afraid of the Dark...it was my favorite episode and this story brings back great memories...I LOVE THIS STORY!

lol i think it was worth the scare just to see a kirara who can communicate verbally with them. in canon she's youkai/nekomata (centuries old) and not just a simple cat, she's got to be highly intelligent and likely gets frustrated with the stupidity of her friends.

she ate ribs when she first arrived there and no doubt she's eaten chicken, fish, steak... she's not considering that things had to die when she ate those meals. the only difference is that she didn't see the meat come neatly packaged and didn't see the animal die. she ate an animal that was old and sickly but had no unhealthy antibiotics in it to make it gain weight and cause antibiotic resistant super bugs, nor did she eat an animal that was fed genetically modified corn and soy for a year to also fatten it up (that slowly was killing its organs) after the year it spent since birth living on its mother's milk and grass. also the animal she ate wasn't like the chickens that are shipped to china to be slaughtered and processed then dunked in an arsenic solution to preserve it so it can be shipped back to the US. she didn't eat farmed fish that live in their own waste and disease that leaks to pollute the surrounding water... i'm sure that she's better off being wolf and if she ever becomes human again hopefully she can smell and taste the difference and realize she's better off eating whole plant diet. lol
