Why mention Singapore-des? O3O

This story is extremely perceptive. You've managed to remember the writing mind must always pull things from subjects you know to better your writing. Something most Hetalia writers ignore or rather pull on what's already been talked about (only the real reason is 75% of the population cuddles up to fluff... to my grave dismay. You can write fluff and still learn to love your characters and the colours each of them bring to the story while still reaching to understand them). I thoroughly enjoy this and hope to give you tips about later characters that might help in there development. If you're not interested to learn, don't read. :P

Russia: What Russia did in world war two was become Germany's downfall. They kept sending in waves and waves of humans against the German army in temperatures that where so bloody cold it didn't matter if the Germans where better soldiers, they couldn't fight 200 million people when Germany only had around 50 million in the beginning. And the Germans where so desperate to conquer Russia. They even said they would take out Switzerland on the way back from Russia. It never happened. The Russians lost more then everyone else put together and gave in the biggest sacrifice. I will never forget. I also won't forget that they where with Hitler until Hitler turned on them. Russia's gone through so much bloodshed it's all he knows as now an adult. His intentions are still for the good of his people, he's still human, but he doesn't know how to conduct that power. The birth of his insanity was something that just made him crumple. I don't blame him for turning to alcohol after having the worlds most abusive life. His mind must be the worse monster. Always thriving for something his people don't want. He's not "evil" for nobody is purely.

Here's translated lyrics to my favorite French song (yes, I speak it) the song was originally written by a survivor of the genocide in Rwanda it's called Seul au monde:

Russia knows now that others support will only lead in the taking of his power. He hasn't softened up through the years like most people. He's stiff and uncomfortable with the world around him and through vodka, hateful but unsure why.

China/Japan/Taiwan: Taiwan was more of an Island under Chinese power. He mostly just let her do her own thing. But when Japan took interest in the country it was a bit different... Japan ruled it with close guard and made sure it worked the way he wanted. Very systematic. The reason China ignores her is she's a nice country, but does she really want a close eye on her 24/7? No, I'm sure they just came when she cried for help after getting taken by Japan. Japan doesn't after all ask politely if she wants to freely be ruled by his government. That would be insane.

China: Does anyone know about the Rape of Nanking? It's the forgotten Holocaust the Japanese made the Chinese suffer (and many other countries). It was so terrible and gruesome that my mothers friend (who was Chinese) was told by his father that if he ever married a Japanese women he would disown him. Japan still hasn't said sorry, they even try to cover it up saying it never happened. The Chinese, having been "raped" killed, tortured, maimed and experimented on have only in the passed few years opened up to what happened. The Japanese would stake their babies on poles to show how powerful they where in front of them. I'm sorry but if you thought Germany was being cruel, it was called a 'world war' for a reason. In Asia a whole different Holocaust was started.

It's hard for him to not grudge against his brother after something like that, he's trying with is worth all the effort.

So long stories short, continue with the great human side you give them but (I'm not saying you don't do this, on the contrary actually) get to know their relations and try to fix them. Change who they are for the better in a slow pace. Seeing someone genuinely smile for the first time in decades is exhilarating. It makes you feel like you've done so much more then just write about them. You've changed their life for the better.

My favorite character is China because there's so much to work with there. Plus he's ignored by most for who he is. Like people expect him to be cute and bubbly and a hard worker who doesn't lose much but really his country is a bit deeper, a bit darker and so much more of what Hetalia puts it out to be. His character is overshadowed by everyone, even Russia.

This is very interesting and I look forward to reading more! I enjoy when ordinary humans interact with the Nations and when they find out eventually but gradually, since I like seeing how they respond to the knowledge. And I think you did a good job with treatment of a very difficult subject.

Hey! Great premise, and really good first few chapters...but could you make Charlotte a little less...flat? She's all anger, all the time. All. The. Time. It's getting a bit annoying. Please show her softer side or I may end up hating her...and I don't want that, as she is obviously a main character
