My very short explanation of the "midnight thing", if it helps:
The moon phase, where a potential can become a fenris, ends at 11:41. Silas was bitten after that, which is why the bell ringing almost immediately after he got bit was so awesome.

I really like this story so far. I can't wait to see what you do with it. I wanted Scarlett to have a happy ending too. She seemed lonely in the epilogue.

I LOVE THS STORY! When I read Sisters Red I was so mad when Scarlett and Silas didn't end up together I walked around for weeks muttering how dare Jackson Pearce not put them together. I'm so happy you are writting this story. I really love me some Scarlas (my couple name for Scarlett and Silas). Can't wait to read the next chapter.

WHOA! I thought they were about to kiss! Just for a second though haha. I loved that she punched him. Totally caught me off guard...am I bad person if I laughed. haha Poor Silas probably doesn't realize why Scarlett is acting so weird. I'm excited to see what happens, especially at the wedding!

Silas was not made a werewolf because he scratched after midnight so it is one day after which he could become a one. I hope that helps, I agree with you, it is confusing.

I just finished reading The Sisters Red about an hour ago, and to be honest I was sad that Scarlett and Silas didn't fall in love. Or that at least Scarlett could have found someone else to love. But it seems fitting, that she would live her life watching Rosie and Silas live their life together while she just loves from afar. Anyways, I am really liking this. good job!
