So, I gotta say something about this one too, heh. Despite the fact that I'm not into shotacon or any of that sort, plus I always feel a little awkward reading Sebastian and Ciel stories that are not AU, I must say I enjoyed it. I think it portrays how Ciel actually is. He is vulnerable, he is fragile just as much as he is that cocky little intelligent brat. He is a living contradiction and this is what makes him so special; this is why Sebastian respects him and desires his soul so much, in my opinion. Great job, thanks for sharing.

I know what you mean about reading lots of fanfics and then wanting to write one of your own. I’ve done that before. It does really get you in the mood for the fandom though.

Also, hi. Here I am. I know I said I didn’t want to read any Kuroshitsuji fics or really have anything to do with the fandom…but these are about the only fics of yours that I have left so…yeah. Completing them is a bit more important than that.

And I’m currently not sure if Sebastian is supposed to be immensely creepy or endearing. Or both.

Enjoying nightmares is an acquired hobby I’m guessing, though for demons it probably comes naturally. But why WOULD he get bored of them? It makes me wonder. Ah, but fanfiction.

“Had the guts to near you,” reminds me of something they said about “death” and Teddy Roosevelt. Sebastian thinks much of himself I see.

I’m tempted to “aw” you know and that’s hard to make me do. Particularly about this series you know. So well done? I think.

Also, I’d like to point out that I’m really quite interested in how you’ve written this. The entire narrative sounds very much like something that would, at least partially, come out of a butler’s mouth, or even Sebastian’s I guess. You got that down quite well I think, fixing the story with a particular perspective.

Although…that kiss…is a little less child-like than I think anyone wants to admit.

This is a recurring mention that I’m afraid I’m going to have to avoid retiring for a while but I must admit that I’m not familiar with the characters. I’m not. So I can’t give you much input on whether they were or they were not in character.

I CAN say however that I very much liked the writing. It was clean and crisp (things I already know I expect of you) but the way it was tinged, it sounded more character-like than story-like and so I think you did a fine job putting that in place.

I like your word choices throughout the fic. Nothing about it seemed bland, even for certain things like caresses and the notable kiss (though that will nonetheless disturb me as it takes things the furthest out of anything found here). And for such a short piece, you evoked quite a bit with very little, something I’m also familiar with in your writing.

So…overall, you made an enjoyable experience out of something I really didn’t think I would enjoy. Thank you for that.

Though I must admit your title is probably intentionally immensely ironic.
