One of the newly arrived Aurors, had been looking at Leslie with great care. "You must be McClellan's stepdaughter; he married your ma a little while after your pa was killed, during a scrimmage, right?" He asked in a heavy brogue.

The first to hear her screams was Harry who met with the rest of the family in the hallway. Cormac's mother felt the ground move; her vision turned blurry; and she finally had to lean against her brother, who was also present. He held her and pattered her back. His eyes were afraid, and her heart was heavy with concern. Her beautiful sons both dying, and just a few minutes ago she was having an intimate celebration with Gavin. Their son was going to live and the curse would be overcome once again, and now this. Who could have been so callous, so cruel, in such a happy occasion?

Neither felt when the carriage landed; soon enough laughs, whistles, and catcalls made them come apart. Hermione blushed, but wished they were still kissing.

"Arthur the house is yours, have fun. Andy, sorry we have to leave; and at least we will see you at the different parties, but we must stay there. I have told the McLaggen that I will be spending the week and so is Hermione." Harry was putting a magical restraining harness on Camellia because he didn't want her to suddenly disappear for a few days once again, and Hermione wanted to take her to Cormac's party.

On Friday Harry flew the car. "I think we have the wrong coordinates," Harry told Hermione when the saw the old fortification that appeared as a ruin to Muggles.

"Mimi, wake up, we need to talk." Harry was nearly whispering, while Hermione's new dog Bijoux growled at him. The dog had come to her as part of her grandmother's inheritance, and she was none too friendly at this time of night. Well, she didn't like men, besides, she saw every wizard as competition for her new mommy's love.

'Let her try to find it, she will be looking for a while,' he thought and laughed with glee. His heart was full of joy and relieved after years of pining and suffering, and he could almost believe that one day she would be his.

She might be able to hide from others but not from him.
