I'm so glad I stumbled upon this terrific o/s. This was so very good. Just as with The Greatest Gift of All, Five Nights has been masterfully crafted with an intense and pervading longing. The tension is so palpable that's it's almost another character in the story. So well done. Thank you for sharing! Btw, Charlie must be hard of hearing or in a beer and baseball-induced haze to not here the goings-on above his head. Thank goodness Edward didn't let a roar rip, lol.
