I think this is the most amazing Dragon Age 2 fanfiction that I have ever read. I love the way you wrote this Hawke, it's refreshing and different and believable. I will definitely check out more of your writing. It's beautiful. :)

Whoa, awesome fic! I love your mercenary surly Hawke, and your messed-up-but-not-whiny-bitch Anders. It's really hard for me to find Dragon Age fics I like because the Hawkes are too Mary Sueish and the supporting characters get watered down apart from one or two specific traits.

Anyway, Thea is a lovely harridan. Erm, weird parallel, but for some reason she reminded me of Top Dollar from The Crow. Weird, like I said, but Top Dollar rocked.

I really like that you didn't, er, romanticize the Anders/Hawke rivalmance. It's not a healthy relationship but damn it's hot, and sometimes so sweetly tender. There was a lot of well-placed humor. The image of Justice being the one to rant at Hawke made me smile.

From a writing standpoint, thank the gods for your clean copy! I loved how descriptive you are without being superfluous.

I really enjoy your style of writing. Very professional and you make your characters very unique. Again though, this story was hard to find because it was labeled under Hawke(M). Good story nonetheless

Alright, I started here because I fking LOVE Anders and Dragon age and of course I wanted to see if you were a good writer with my familiar little fangirlish topics before I read your original fics. I mean, I would never lie about my taste in literature. no no.

But dayum. This was so my kind of writing, and I honestly could not find one spelling or grammar mistake which made me so gleeful! you never see that anymore.

Beautiful story. Super-bitch original Hawke. You don't read many rival Hawkes who aren't super dommy to match. But I'm rambling now...

This was sad and bittersweet. Its the ending that I always wanted but could never have (for my hilarious, goofy Garrett Hawke though) and maybe with more happys in between but oh no no, I love tragedy and I love the flawed characters. It is a good sad,this is. The feeling you can only have from reading something compelling.

This matched the game so well : )

Wow! So glad I stumbled onto this story. It is so bloody brilliant! I just love this pair. I love this gritty, grimy Hawke and her transformation into something a little more lovable. I like Anders that can't help loving her. Wow! Terrific story!

This is a fantastic story, from a rarely used perspective. I really really liked it :-)

Oh god, where do I begin? I thought that this was fantastic! This is not a healthy relationship and they both know it and you the writer didn't mince the details. Thea is wonderful as a character but also horrible at the same time - there are so many times I feel so bad for Anders. Unfortunately, you can't help who you fall in love with.

The way they both smell and feel different is also a great detail. I love how she can't really describe how the presence of Justice feels. Also that he'd totally kill her if he had the chance.

It was great that Thea got exactly what she wanted... and then hated it. I think it's perfectly fitting, especially with how much of a bitch she is. I like how it mellowed her out (slightly), which made making up with Anders possible.

I love your Anders and how he isn't a pushover. So often he feels like one in DAII and it drives me crazy. But then again I've always preferred him in Awakening.

There are so many wonderful details in this. I think what makes this story great is all of the little things.
