Hey Fox, been awhile! Have you heard of Solidchief Link? They wrote a superb BotW zelda/link modern era fanfic called "A risky affair" but now it not available for and I loved that story ! So can you contact them and ask them to put it up again! I am sure that many a great number of people who read their stories will be extremely happy for that

Anyway, I truly enjoyed the entire read. The personalities of both Link and Zelda were completely relatable. The way you portayed her as a normal, everyday person was a cool change of pace I must say, making the transition of her being a beloved member of the family all the more believable. One thing I could probably see myself in is with Link, Zelda and Zephyr; The number one thing I will never tolerate is someone trying to forcefully put their hands on my loved ones and if they try, I will beat them senseless. But, looks like he got what was coming to him. :D

Personally, the ending was also very satisfying. Alot of the loose ends were tied up and it ended at the most symbolic place in the story. Good stuff bro, good stuff. :)

You were doing so well and then you killed it by throwing away proper structure of dialogue. That makes it a pain to read. Nearly insulting. The rest is nice though:

I like how her mother and her relationship is touched upon here. It is very sad and sweet and very tear-jerking, I almost shed a tear when her mother was to say good bye to her daughter, her very last and final farewell. Even if we don't know Queen Selena as well since she died so quickly, it was still a painful moment and one that is very significant, with the way she worded it and the actions she portrayed, it was a sad-happy moment, because she is imparting her last and final words down to Zelda. Yet it's sad since a mother has died. :(

Impa as Zelda's new mother works well. I hope the woman can give Zelda guidance in choosing an appropriate suitor. Who knows, maybe there will be a love at first sight. :)
