Absolutely beautiful piece of art. How you managed to capture the individuality of each character and maintain their authenticity from the source material is beyond me. I appreciate you doing your research into the Feudal era of Japan! Your writing style is one of the most unique storytelling techniques I've seen on this site. Meaningful prose, minimalist stanzas, and profound symbolism. My only (personal) wish is that it was longer so I could enjoy it even more and see the slowly developing relationship between Naruto and Hinata in more depth (although I understand this is a short story). Sasuke's descent into darkness and gradual corruption with revenge is fantastically done! His relationship with Sakura adds a nice human element to his character to tell he is not completely evil despite being an antagonistic figure. Naruto's role as a samurai vowing his protection to Hinata fits his unwavering compassion and bravery so we'll. Hinata's gradual development into an independent lady of high class is so freshing to see. A pet peeve I have is how sickly or shy characters in fiction are portrayed as emotionally weak and one dimensional. In real life, people are very complex and are littered with weaknesses and strengths. You portray this so fantastically as Hinata is able to find the courage within herself at the end to fight for her life since previously deemed a worthless existence. How is story isn't more popular is beyond me. Criminally underrated.

Good wish there was more though I don't think anything ever happend to Orochimaru and was looking forward to Naruto discovering his heritage also some drama between Hanabi and Hinata as they can finally meet again.

This was one of my first Naruto stories that I ever read before I made and account and years later I stumble across it again. Now I can happily add it my community.

I am now officially in tears. So perfect, so complete. It was fitting that Sasuke should die by Neji's technique, but it hurt that he died despite his cruelty. This story is amazing. If you are not already writing a book for publishing or have one published I hope that you do soon.

There were several instances in which I had to look up some of the words that you used and that almost never happens. A very creative take on the Naruto world. I would love a bit more on the epilogue but then again I'm just a big fan of fluff.

Sakura's relationship with Sasuke brought some depth to Sasuke's character which was a very nice touch. It kept Sasuke from being a flat villain. I wished you would have expanded on Karin a bit, just some background and her devotion towards Sasuke. A sort of 'when it's bad, it's bad but when it's good, it's really good' addictive obsession that she has towards Sasuke.

Same with Tenten. Maybe just of a small memory of Neji's last conversation to her, his subtle caress towards Tenten's stomach and his distrust over Sasuke. Tenten, though, was still portrayed justly, as the strong capable warrior that she is.

Everything else was quite perfect. I love the tree expedition, the notes, just generally how perfect and together Naruto and Hinata is portrayed when they are with each other. I liked the pacing, it all felt quite natural and the background really served to give it weight. I was a bit unclear of the social and political system during this time though, this is probably just my ignorance and lack of knowledge.

A very pleasant take on the naruto series fics. Good naruhina fic to read despite its low amount of romance, its still very good. A fresh out take to release some tension from the common repetitive naruto fic, such as ninja themes.

The ending chapter was so good. The fact that Sasuke was tricked and then trapped as he tried to kill Hinata...the battle between Sasuke and Naruto was great...the way you closed it out by telling about what eventually happened to Naruto and Hinata...these all made this an epic story:) Thank you so much for writing this wonderful tale.

I love the story...it has adventure, fighting, romance, and a lot of intrigue. It is fun to read and the great writing makes it easy to follow. Great chapter.

This story is just full of great images and the writing is beautiful. The story of Hinata fleeing with the children is soooo good along with the battle in which Naruto saves Sasuke...well done!
