Oh, it's been forever since I last read a Thunderbirds fic, but I thought I'd give this one a try and I'm glad I did. It gave me a real giggle and put a smile on my face. The banter between John and Scott is well done, given how careful they have to be with listeners all around. Thanks for a fun read.

The codenames are strange to get used to- they give the story a bit of an AU feel because they don't use them in the TV series, but this was a funny one-shot and perfect for April Fool's Day.

"Didn't realise you guys would have one of them as well!"- haha, everywhere you go there's one practical joker.

"Honest! I was gonna wash it off."- Yeah, eventually, after everyone had laughed long and hard at poor Virgil. _

"Oh geez, Anomala albopilosa," John laughed.- Only John would laugh at a Latin name. Big show-off! I knew he meant scarab beetle! *looks round furtively*

"you wonder why no-one ever wants to play Trivial Pursuit with you."- I wouldn't even want to play Snakes & Ladders with John, he's merciless!

Now what would they paint TB1 to look like? I'm thinking mosquito. Although Scott wouldn't appreciate John describing his 'bird as akin to something small and whiny...

Haha, loved this! So typical of the boys, and love the fact that the local rescue workers were witness to the boys being brothers rather than rescuers! Loved Scott's assessment of the debrief!
