Ok I know it's been like four years but I seriously love this story and I figured I'd just drop some encouragement here in case you feel inclined to continue it! It's super intriguing, and I enjoy how you can see Fenris's bitter, rebellious side just peeking through even though he's clearly still trapped in the slave mindset. I also really enjoy Hawke's dilemma of feeling attracted to him but unsure of how to react to it without taking advantage of him. It's especially impressive that a lot of this comes across clearly without you stating it directly. Anyway, I hope you decide to keep writing! I'll favorite just in case :)

I've been rereading this and I TOTALLY forgot about Anders! At least I'm like, 95% sure it's Anders. I don't know anyone else who would speak so cheerfully in such riddles from a cage. I love this fanfiction so much, it's definitely one of my favorites in the DA fandom. I know life happens and interests fade, but if you find the spark to update again, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat.

I understand that it's been more than a year since you've updated on here. I hope that you haven't completely abandoned this, because, so far, it's been amazing, and with the addition of Varric and (whom I believe is) Anders, it just promises to be better! I love how Hawke reacts to things around here, and how Fenris seems to be subconsciously gaining his freedom, albeit slower than Hawke would like. Oh, and Illyria? Gorgeous name, and certainly a unique one.
Again, I hope you haven't discarded this fic, because I really would love to read more!
