There are a couple of errors in this, but nothing major. You've missed a few commas and once put "to" instead of "the" or put the words in the wrong order or something...

Anyway, the idea of this is pretty good and could easily be made into a longer story. You describe the illness quite well, and... I forget what I was going to say XD Sorry.
