wow his dad is a dick

Good. It is very rare to see an author write about Ghetsis and N without introducing every possible level of abuse from physical to sexual. However, Ghetsis' explosion at the end of BW was part of a surprising revelation to the characters in the story. N is a good person who believed that he had found a like-minded individual in Ghetsis, someone who sincerely wanted to make the world a better place. If Ghetsis reguarly shows N cruelty then I find it very unlikely that N would have placed such trust in him. So I have always found it more realistic and more interesting to show Ghetsis in a complex way, and search- usually in vain for stories that attempt this. Ghetsis initially showed calm, controlled authority, so I think N's home life would have look more like this. Moving on this was a nice story, its written with a lot of restraint. You showed a human moment between N and Ghetsis but did so in a way that did not spiral out of character. I think you achieved the perfect balance as you set out to do. Good descriptions from both povs. I like the way it ended. Cute.

Daaawww! As much as I love Abusive!Ghetis stories, it's really refreshing to see Ghetis's (secretly) fatherly side for once. :) I hope to see more like these in this archive. ;)

Really, you pulled off the characters great (at least this is how I always imagined they were when N was a wee lad). And I like your writing style! You give the perfect amount of vivid description, and the dialougue, thoughts, and actions really communicate who the characters are.

Amazing history and very well written ! I loved how you portrayed N and Ghetsis. Sigh, its good to find fics like this in a fandom full of that "harmoniashipping rape" crap :/. Well, keep up the good work, I hope to see more in the future ;)!

This is a very interesting out-take. I'd imagine that Ghetsis would have some level of fatherly-ness buried under his pursuit of power.

Considering Ghetsis' behavior in every single other fanfic I've ever read, this was almost terrifying to read. I was expecting the worst.

This story was so fluffy and adorable. Usually I don't like those kind of fics, but this one was too cute not to review :) You have a very nice writing style~

I have Black too, and just so you know, even though it isn't said so in the game (or as far as I know, it isn't said in the English version), Ghetsis and N really are Father and Son.

Anyway, I love Lion King, and Ghetsis does kind of remind me of Musfasa in this. Poor N, having to deal with all this.

Good story, overall. Summary wasn't that sucky. Hope to see more stories like this.
