I really like this. I can see Dean coming up with this solution. I'm glad Sam gave in because he knew it would bring Dean peace of mind.

I cannot find the words to tell you how much I love this story. Sometimes its the simple ideas that make for the most moving stories. I loved that it was emotional without being overwrought. I love that you can actually feel the moment where a more mature Sam takes over from the old Sam who would have just gotten angry and been offended "weighed down" The connection with his brother is I think more precious to Sam now. That you were able to communicate all of that in a short little one-shot is amazing. Fantastic job and thanks for sharing.

Poor Sam! What a wound to his independence. But really, how could he not give his brother the peace of mind given the situation! Sweet, sad, and cute!

I love the idea of unstable Sam, he was in the cage a very long time and now has that flimsy wall in his head but the writers seem to have just glossed over that where I feel there should be more severe consequences. I hope season 7 sees some.
