Were you inspired by a fic called "Under The Bastard Flag" by Belladona Rose? It's Grimmjow x Orihime fic. Very nicely done, that one. And it's published earlier than your fic too.

I read this story just before Christmas. It was very late and I thought about leaving you a review later when I wouldn't be so tired and could bring myself to think with a foreign language.

It's been 3 days now without access to computer because of the Christmas celebrations and time spent with loved ones. All that time, every single day, every single hour, this fic was drumming back of my head. I couldn't get it out! When I went to sleep I repeated the scenes of this fic in my head, watching how the ships sailed in the sea and how Inoue sat alone in the cabin or how Renji pursed for the unfamiliar, not-the-best-for-this-occasion crew he didn't know well enough. When I woke up the fic was the first thing I had in my mind.

So, thank you for the very captivating fic! It was a pleasure to read this. I kind of hoped Inoue would have been a slave of some sort, that explaining why she was so afraid of Renji ( pirates handling the slave trades and markets) but now I'm even more curious why she fears Renji so much - despite the intimate time between them.

Maybe she ends up as the pirate princess :-D
