I like logan, I find him one of the best xmen. almost all redheads are badass, like Natasha Romanov(Black Widow).

And as for the abandonment thing, I've never cared for that story line, chalking it up to bad writers trying to create drama, and it's obvious this fic is following the path set by those bad writers. That makes this just as disgraceful. Sorry, but like other fics that portray Scott in such a manner, I do not support this mess at all. It may not be what you were expecting, so sorry to disappoint you.

While Scot's actions were completely wrong, and he was wrong, I can VERY easily see why he'd react in such a way. Jean was the only thing that gave him real happiness in life, and that happiness is yanked away from him. And Jean gave no indication that Emma was the reason she left. What did they EXPECT would happen? That he'd hand out roses and champagne? Now he has absolutely nothing. And Jean didn't even BOTHER to try to understand why he reacted in such a manner, at all. She merely responded in anger, which exacerbated the situation. And rather than trying to smooth ruffled feathers, the others were just as belligerent. And there's no way that Logan of all people would be the voice of reason, as he's too much of a mindless, rabid animal that should've been put down long ago.

In short, while you may have placed the fic under the "Humor" category, this wasn't remotely funny at all. It's actually incredibly heartbreaking, as now Scott is once again all alone in the world. He might as well just leave the Institute, and never return, as it now holds nothing but bitter memories, and a constant reminder of what he has lost. It's abundantly clear he can't trust them anymore.

Okay, this is about the third time I've read this, and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it. There really aren't enough Emma/Jean stories out there... of course, Jean's been dead for about 9 years now, so that may be part of the reason *lol* Just one thing I wanted to point out (I can't remember if I already had done so or not), but Emma's not British. She's from Boston. Of course, that's just me being nit-picky :P

Great work. Off to finish the story... and yeah, I'm likely gonna read it for a 4th time sooner rather than later :)
