A chapter 11 . 2/19/2017 That was perfect. It breaks my heart when I think about Thane, and what he lost, but it's good to remember that, for a while, he was happy. I think you wrote both him and Irikah beautifully. Wonderful job. :) |
Blackrose88 chapter 11 . 5/14/2012 This story was very good. It gave great insight on how Thane and Irikah might have met and their relationship. What makes this story so tragic is that we know how it ends, how Thanes career ends up destroying the homelife that he had built. Thanks for the story :) |
farewelljazzs chapter 11 . 3/10/2012 What a sincere story, you've really kept true to Thane's character. Seeing in to this part of his life was so interesting to read, him stil being an assassin that worked for the hanar, him meeting Irikah and seeing his transformation. Thank you for sharing this. -Jazz |
Anonymous chapter 11 . 12/25/2011 Great story, great plot line! I love your take on young Thane, it really fits him. I noticed a few mistakes (missing words or repeted words mostly), but they're really few and easily missed. I think the story was great and you managed to creat a perfect image of Khaje, Thane and Irika's relationship, Thane's awakening and everything else beautiful about these two. Great job! |
BrookeEmily chapter 11 . 9/24/2011 I must say, I enjoyed this story! Simple, and sweet. Not to 'i'm going to make up everything I want and completly go out of character'. Which I read WAY to often.. kinda kills the mood for me. But this story was very nice and sweet. Fantastic work! |
kalenel chapter 7 . 8/12/2011 Oooh, very interesting turn of events. I like how Thane's starting to think for himself now, starting to doubt the orders he's been given. Can't wait to see what happens next! |
jesttal chapter 3 . 7/15/2011 I continue to adore this story and am always thrilled to see when more has been added to it. It's an amusing tension - I want to see Thane and Iruka (sp? - sorry, too lazy to go check just now) interact, and am initially impatient about that. But you are doing such a good job just /building/ Thane as a character and the world he lives in that I suspect, at the end, I'll wish you'd added more chapters of that too. Your characterization remains perfect and, if I didn't make it clear, I am really enjoying the sense of Thane's "life" at this point. Thanks for writing more. It was great to read it. |
kalenel chapter 2 . 4/23/2011 I like how you've set up a parallel with Nirrin-Thane is so critical of him now; I wonder if he'll make the connection when he commits the same mistakes? |
Jest'lyn Tal chapter 1 . 4/7/2011 I really hope you continue this. It seems like a great opportunity to explore more about Thane - and you are doing a great job. The character seems very on point, but recognizably younger. Your interpretation of Irkiah is harder to gauge since we know so little of her. However, it's absolutely plausible. The logic for why Thane thinks of her the way that he does - no mortal would ever take those risks, etc - also makes perfect sense. I would love to see more! |
kalenel chapter 1 . 3/28/2011 Oooh, I like this. There are too few stories that deal with Thane and Irikah, and this one promises to be lovely. |
