honestly, your notes made my expectations way too high, yet the story failed to deliver, albeit it's pretty good compared to several other fanfics

Hi. Thank you for finishing this fic and for keeping it up here!
Crazy story, ShizNat was my first ship and a few years ago I ended up reading your fic on my TV (!) for some reason... But at chapter 44 I stopped using the TV as a browser and never remembered to check anything on it again. Fast forward a few years to today and I find it bookmarked there and decide to read the remaining chapters ASAP. A couple of chapters later I find your author's note apologizing for late updates because you were obsessed with...SwanQueen! And I had to laugh out loud, because, will you take a guess what my second ever ship is (and now OTP over anything else) and what I've been reading obsessevely for the last years? Yeah, I caught the SwanQueen bug too :-)
But hey, where are your SQ stories? Have you moved to AO3 or something?
Anyway, thank you, again.

Oki... This was a wonderful story. The use of Latin was an exquisite touch. I love it.

Great ending! If you're a Shiznat fan, this is the best possible ending, imo. They're both human and they get to start over, without all of the incredible baggage that doomed their relationship. Perfect.
Too bad about Nao - I have no use for her in Mai Hime, but rather enjoyed her in Otome. I liked her in this story, and wish she'd survived.

you have a very impressive talent of making the attraction between your characters extremely obvious. even when they just kiss, that shit is HAWT.

the scene with shizuru and the nobles was awesome 8) ...i gotta say though, every character, cept natsuki, is so damn heartless. obviously you know this and did it on purpose, but i gotta say idt most ppl like that as much as you apparently think.

you say we'll have to wait for shiznat, and thats fine. but it would be nice if their was any interaction between them at all!

HI Kora, I wanted to let you know that I really think that you are a truly gifted writer! Yes, I love the vampire and wolf genre but your style of writing is so unique.

I am awed everytime I read this. It definitely takes me awhile and each time seem so vastly different and new.

I do hope you come back with more stories of Mai Hime. Thank you for sharing this amazing imagination, story and for its completion!
