What a nice idea ! I like it and it solves one my everyday question about taxis and Sherlock.

And you are so right - I'd never considered it before, but it's hard to get a Taxi even in central London. Sherlock must have some exceptional abilities. But I prefer your explanation...

Just a few words to say I really liked how you came from Sherlock's uncanny hability to find a cab within seconds at any given time, to the fact that the self-proclaimed sociopath might not be one, after all! I suppose you will get dozens of reviews complimenting you on this point, but anyway, I could not help it.

May I add that it is much more than the simple timing of the story- it is also the fact that you used the idea of a blog entry to write this, and the connexion between the beginning and the end of the chapter: at the end we realize that John's admiration was not only due to Sherlock's car hailing abilities, but merely due to the fact that he always help those who seem helpless- and never boats about it afterwards.

So really, that was brilliant.
