I love Santana's role in your story even if her part was small she was definetly as important as Sam and Brittney. Thank you for writing such a great story, especially one that dealt with a sensitive subject so well.

Your writing leaves a bittersweet tastein my mouth. It's so beautiful but at the same time tragic.

"Does your mom really feed you every night? Like not just when I come over but every night?" She asks with nothing but curiosity reflected in her voice and in her eyes.

The psycology that could be explored in your story is quite limitless.

Awwwwww this was so sad / good! I loved the friendship Sam, Santana and Brittany have after everything they've been through.

Excellent and poignant piece. Brittany and Sam were portrayed brilliantly here. However, I find it hard to believe that Sam's father's abuse stems solely from alcoholism. When someone is able to largely limit the damage to the torso, it indicates a degree of premeditation and awareness by the perpetrator to hide evidence of the abuse. It's not the typical MO of someone in an uncontrollable drunken rage.
