I agree with GWBear it was good except for the yadda, yadda's which if I loved Jane Austen less I would have stopped this story. I do love to read people's different versions of this scene.

It was good indeed, more than good excellent. I normally don't like the narrative to be in first person. I find it shallow. But the conversation... That talk between then was perfect... His reactions to her words. The anger, the love, the hope: everything in a tiny chapter.
