You should use writhe instead of wither. Withering generally implies looking energy, whereas writhe is more energetic. Otherwise chapter 10 is good.

Your story is great, I'm actually rereading it, but this is actually about your comment towards the leap of faith. A leap of faith is actually physically impossible without killing or seriously injuring yourself. Go on YouTube and look up "Game Theory: Leap of Faith", it actually explains the whole problem behind the actuality of performing a leap of faith in real life and it's kinda interesting. Of course, you don't have to watch the video, it's just a suggestion. Anyway, great story, can't wait for updates to "The Adventure Never Ends".

I want to like this story, and in a way, I do, but I can't get over how misogynistic your attitude is, and it really bothers me. While the actions Maria did ate completely unacceptable, it seems like she's little more than a convenient plot device that you have to set up drama and have a flat easy to hate villain. She's amazingly out of character and it seems like an easy out so she doesn't interfere with the hot gay threesome you have going on.

You constantly refer to Maria being weaker than Desmond, and have him feel ashamed because he managed to be bested by a woman. The female assassins were just as strong as the male ones, so I don't really know where all this women are weak stuff is coming from. It ruins an otherwise fun and charming story.

I understand how hard it is to be LGBT, especially since I am myself, but it doesn't excuse casual sexism. I know you probably won't see this, but I hope you do, because you have a ton of potential.
