damnit you killed off Leliana

To use Varric's words: One heck of a story. I certainly can't disagree. This was a story worth of a champion, so many things explained and used for a good story. I thank you for writing it and sharing it with us. I'm only sad that I didn't find/read this earlier.

Some of the characters never really changed (Fenris, Isabella), but some did over the story at least a bit. And Varric ending Meredith with those words, was perfect, as were the the last words from Riona in this chapter. Gotta find the sequel now.

Riona left? out of curiosity, does this happen in the game as well? shit, this is sort of sad. sort of dark. i don't really see good prevailing here. i've always thought mages we're the oppressed ones. and yes, they are, but their oppression twisted them into the very things the templars sought to guard against. A sad cycle i think. the only upside here is that the inquisition plot should be very different now, what with that warden queen and what not. damn. well, at least Riona has Spot. and Varric. love huh. all the best with that i guess.

anders tried to do what he felt was right, but ends up sort of hurting bethany every time. sigh. anders. may you find some peace in death at least.

that was dark indeed. i can't imagine the hero of ferelden actually killing a companion, it's never been done. dang it. the future is uncertain, and the night full of terrors.

yay! wedding! :) a bit of a bittersweet on with meredith there though. Oh i hope Aveline and a detachment of kirkwall guards make it to the inquisition! :)

slight pity about isabella though. knowing what i know about the ben hassrath from inquisistion, i honestly wonder if we'll encounter isabella again in some form in the sequel.
