You ended this on Oct, 2011, so you had no way of knowing that CdP would leave the show after Ssn 10. Her last epi was "Past Present Future"...

Your story is more than 2 years old, so it's unlikely that you'll see this review, but I had to write it anyway. Your story was fantastic; I read it every time I could find some free time, & now that I'm finished, I wish there was more... [BTW, I don't know if others noticed, but your final sentence contains the words, "Past, Present, & Future", which was CdP's last epi, & the end of Tiva. ]

What a magnificent chapter. The interaction between Tony and Ziva - especially how she dismisses it as a "scratch," and he gently insists that it's not - is just perfect here. I'm so glad I found this story and look forward to reading the rest of it.

Great read; gripes aside. ...But the gripes are small. I would like at least some of these good fics to carry on at least a little into the future of their relationship. That seems to me to be the best place for drama, suspense, romance, conflict and all kinds of other great plot elements. The future is rich with the best parts to their story.

Please tell me Tony's nuts are about to drop and he is going straight to Gibbs and kick the lid off the giant can of worms, take his lumps and defers to Gibbs whether he should request a new team, or further steps...

Gibbs would so meddle, it is true to the character, but I don't like it. When you get in the way of true feeling it is a travesty in the saddest way. ...But Gibbs has been married like four times and dates a lot, so you never know. He might just be a champion of love, trying to hide behind his curmudgeon persona. [Grip time] All these ('S) and Zee-vah's are okay in small doses, but they are starting to break immersion a little for me. I will live though.

Where is the M rating? I've read like three fuck's and no sex? What gives?

Fuck Gibb's rules. He's not god, besides their relationship would be a conflagration that burned forever, or it would burn itself out quick. There would be no middle ground, they would love each other and be together, or they wouldn't. If it didn't work out, they would be too invested in each other to not be at the very least what they've always been. Partners. It's in their personalities. They would be able to shift back into their original roles, because it has been that deep and ingrained from the start. At least in my opinion.
