Wow, you did an incredible job with the dialogue between Finn and Rachel. I swear I was impressed by him: He figured out how Puck existed for others but Noah was exclusively for the little diva, and both his explanations and reactions were very mature.

Aw, I felt a pang in the chest with this line:

"[...]His lips pursed, brows knotted heavy over his dark, brooding eyes. "So let's say you were in love with me the whole time you were dating him… The whole time you were with Finn, too…" His jaw ticked. "Who're you really cheating on then…? Me or them?"[...]"

But it was great to see them finally settling their relationship and with a firework-maker kiss.

I don't know why the fuck I'm crying, but I'm pretty sure he last line did it for me. She finally got it right. I swear, that song KILLS me this time of the month. God, I wish Puckleberry was Glee endgame...

I loved the reference to the song she wrote there at the end. Great job.

I love the honesty and realism that your story projects. A Finn and Rachel final break-up, as much I want it to be, will never be simple. There have been a lot of insecurities and shortcomings playing into that relationships and either glossing over the others contribution to the above mentioned would be sugarcoating. I think Rachel will always gravitate to Puck somehow just in the same manner that Finn will gravitate to Quinn somehow. I think the dynamic you played in this universe was perfect. Neither Rachel nor Finn would try to leave the other heartbroken to 'chase' after the one they want BUT they would still have feelings. It would still hurt and take time to mend the fences. I also loved the ending between Puckleberry. It's a Noah and Rachel type of feelings discussion. Not too heavy but certainly not too light. Not too accusing but definitely not acting like nothing happened. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, if only the show would actually go in this direction... The main reason I love this story so much is because I am such a Puck and Rachel fan, but (although I tend to dislike Finn a lot at recurring points throughout the show) I don't exactly want Finn to suffer through the angst of being "one-upped"/betrayed by his best friend, again. The understanding that they reach here is not only (my personal) fairytale, but also a realistic way of coming about it. If, of course, Finn and Rachel were just a tiny bit more rational.

I also loved the line Finn has at the beginning about Puck and the slushies - "His misunderstood way of saying 'hi'?" That made me laugh, but was also such a great point to make. I think it's something that, realistically, should be addressed much more than it has been in the show. I could go on and on about moral, emmotional, psychological, and theoretical thoughts on the whole deal, but I'll spare you that. My point is that I liked the line about it, because us Puckleberry fans tend to skip over that or not really address it, and that you brought it up as a (valid) point in their conversation is a good nod to prior/current problems with Puck's relationships to the Gleeks.

I don't know what it is about your stories, but seriously, any Puckleberry misgivings I had are gone. Completely. And I no longer want to fight so hard for Finchel. I love it :)

Oh my god that was amazing! so well written!

That was great. Finn wasn't a jerk like he sometimes is. Rachel realizes that Finn was her perfect dream, but Puck was love-filled reality.

That was so beautiful! You have such a way with words for your puck and Rachel stories it makes my heart swell. My favorite part was when she said she would never cheat and he came back with this-

So let's say you were in love with me the whole time you were dating him… The whole time you were with Finn, too…" His jaw ticked. "Who're you really cheating on then…? Me or them?"-

That is one of the greatest lines I've ever read.
