i've been speaking welsh my whole life and in most contexts it isn't a very *sexy* language, but here it just works. it isn't my first language and it's not my strong point but i managed to understand it. not mutilated in the slightest.

I loved this! As someone who has a language kink as well, it was nice reading things I didn't understand XD. I'm taking a Japanese language class currently so I was able to read it but the minute you throw kanji in there, I'm illiterate and have to guess if I didn't learn that character yet ;A;.
I really like the idea of England being able to speak multipe languages. With all the relations he's had with other countries, how can he not? I've never read a fanfiction other than this one that acknowledged AND demonstrated it though.
I love languages and hope to speak at least 5 (or more) fluently before I die XD.
