Why did I bother to read YET ANOTHER awesome story that hasn't updated in two years!? QwQ

i have issues with sesshoumaru and his attitude about inuyasha's sword skills. for the 150 years inuyasha lived before he was sealed he taught himself to fight using his claws while his brother periodically came around to torment and abuse him (it's obvious by inuyasha's attitude when his brother shows up the first time in the series with the mu-onna mononoke posing as inuyasha's mother, it was as if inuyasha was familiar with sesshoumaru's cruelty. especially his psychological and emotional abuse to orchestrate the use of inuyasha's beloved mother [manga, it's sesshoumaru's idea and he laughs at inuyasha's pained expression at seeing what he thinks as his mother being tortured] and to address the disparaging remarks about inuyasha's lack of finesse at using a sword, he's got no room to speak as it would fall on sesshoumaru's responsibility to train his brother in the defensive arts and he failed to do so. sesshoumaru pissed me off in canon and now he's royally pissing me off in this). inuyasha, to have survived from somewhere between age five to eight and to have the honor and integrity and intelligence he shows when he's not acting like the abused and neglected child he was is a testament to inuyasha's qualities. inuyasha is HANYOU (romanji british spelling). HANYO (romanji american spelling). a half demon ('demon' a term never used in the japanese manga or series is 'akuma' half demon would be ippan akuma or han akuma). the creatures in inuyasha are youkai, mononoke, oni, bakemono, kitsune, nekomata, etc. and there were never akuma... what the translators did was tantamount to taking lord of the rings and calling all of the diverse creatures in that 'demons'.

i'd seen a story where hiko had gotten a wife while training kenshin... a stray that he took in and kept so you might not need to kill her off. lol

i guess hiko suspects that the boy is more than he seems. maybe he thinks the boy is a orphan tanuki or kitsune.

i guess sakura could be dropped off at a next village and given a bit to help her get settled into a job, find a husband and live happily. i see the eye color change has been explained nicely, just a little of sesshoumaru's youki bleeding through. hiko doesn't realize the boy is youkai or hanyou (facial markings might give him away), or it doesn't matter to him as he just sees strength, skill and desire to protect?

lol, inuyasha is inuyasha. wondering when sesshoumaru will be getting his memories back... he's experienced loss and oppression and the depravity of man...

i'm going to consider the time disparity and inuyasha passing through a temporal barrier that he can't feel while he's passing through to contact his brother's time (feudal or warring states japan was before the tokugawa shoganate line began and the bakumatsu was the fall of the tokugawa shogunate... if you google 'extra history japan' you can watch the 'sengoku jidai' series. another good reference is the book/miniseries 'shogun' by james clavell and can watch the miniseries on youtube search - james clavell's shōgun - it's a playlist with 8 videos if you want to see a fairly accurate japanese culture at that time. i've been begging the 'extra history' people to do a bakumatsu/end of shogunate series.).

oh wow. sesshoumaru's got a lump in his throat. oops, it's a baby. lol i really love your inuyasha's attitude in this.

in the old fan translations of the rurouni kenshin manga it mentions that shinta had 'brothers' but the new commercial translations of the manga say 'family' (i don't understand why translators have to dumb things down... that's why i will only watch anime in the original japanese with subs and look for fan scans of manga) but in your universe he has an older sister.

i really like this and i'm very intrigued. it might be interesting for you to read the 'rurouni kenshin' and maybe even the 'inuyasha' manga... google 'spectrum nexus manga scans', in the 'rurouni kenshin' manga it even has a story about the first hiko seijuro in volume 6, page 167, it's a very similar story of the rescue of inuyasha's mother isayoi from takemaru... if the events were distorted by future non-belief in youkai, mononoke, oni and other assorted bakemono (all erroneously translated as 'demons' by inuyasha anime translators) and the retelling over 300 years from the sengoku jidai (warring states era -16th century) to the bakumatsu (around the time of the american civil war, shinta would be born around 1849)... but i understand that this is fiction and who is to say that the entity that stole rin can't manipulate time if they can make him 'see' through the eyes of a child and grow into a man before too much time elapsed in sesshoumaru's reality (sort of like in 'star trek -next gen' episode 'the inner light' where captain picard gets hit by a beam from a probe and in a split second lives the whole life of a man from a civilization long dead).

hope you got to see the movies, if not you can see the all three online at a place called: gooddrama (you can google - gooddrama rurouni kenshin - although i'm not sure it's available in every country) the three movies will be listed:

I hope you update this, and keep adding appearances by Inuyasha. I'd love to see his rude demeanor towards Kenshin & others, especially Tomoe. She'd prob faint or freak out over the puppy's rude behavior, and of course, his looks. XD can't wait to see Enishi's reaction as well. X3

And maybe some interactions between Saito & Koga, that would be hella funny. XDD

Update plz! I wonder how Sessh/Ken will react to Tomoe, and will Sesshy ever find Rin? Also I luv Inu's various appearances, especially his crass personality. XD Do continue, please!

Bravo! You finally updated! XD Aww, how nice of Inu to help out Kenshin/Sesshy, albeit strange, I thought they hated each other's guts. Will he be making more appearances? Thnx again for updating! :D

Plz continue. I'm very much enjoying the insulting banter between the Sesshy-possessed Kenshin & Inuyasha. It's quite amusing, that it is.

Most amazing story. Awesome plot, great idea, good writing. I enjoyed it very much and would love to read more!
