Unfortunately I found a little mistake in Francis sentence... It’s either ‘mon chère’ or ‘ma chérie’, cause depending on the noun’s gender the possessive pronoun changes. It’s a common mistake here on and totally understandable for someone who never took French classes!

Man I've just found (and 'finished' ) this fic and it sucks to know that it won't be finished properly because this is such a good read. It's nice to get some closer on why it was never finished and I'm glad that you (the author) are doing well.

this was my favorite fanfiction back in the day (out of hundreds and hundreds because I was that kind of obsessive fan), I didn't get an email because my ffn account was never attached, I just found myself thinking about it at work today and wanted to reread (even though I haven't been into hetalia for a long time either haha)...to stumble across your message is just WOW! when I CTRL F searched your username in my old favorites list and this was at the top I couldn't believe it! Still can't! I would be absolutely thrilled if you rewrote or just transferred some to AO3. I wish you the best on your MFA, I'm still an undergrad art student :)

I remember this fic! I was so surprised when I saw it had updated! I'm glad you're doing well, I always wonder how authors are doing after they stop posting. Hetalia's not my main fandom anymore, but I still love it, and go back to read my old favorites once in a while. I would love it if you continued or rewrote your stories. It would be great to be able to read them! But I would be happy even if you just transferred them to Ao3. I'm sure you'd get more readers who would enjoy your stories as well. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go reread this story!

Damn I just saw this notification in my email and popped by to look, it has been a longgg time, i remember reading this in highschool and i'm now in uni haha. I had a lot of fond memories of this and I think i'm going to reread again to refresh my mind lol. Transferring to Ao3 is a good idea, i think most of the fandom has moved there, but staying here is fine too, since we are subscribed to the story (I hope i'm right). In the end it's up to you if you want to continue actually, if you have the time or motivation. It will be nice to see a resolution in the story, everybody loves an ending. But if you do not want to continue, I hope you will not take down the story, sometimes it's nice to look back at a story you read ages ago for a nostalgia trip. Wow, the fact that we were about the same age when you were writing one of my favourite fics and I get an update like this is really interesting. It's cool to see how far somebody comes, even though I do not know you. I come to think about this fic from time to time, wondering what happened to the writer and hoping they are well. Haha well, I'm glad to hear that things have been going great. Can't believe it's been 8 to 9 years!?

I too have been out of the Hetalia fandom for a long time, but you know, coming back to it someday would be fun. It's nice to have a blast from the past.

If you took the time to transfer everything to Ao3 I'd be so so happy, and gladly read it all again! You don't have to apologize for leaving it, that happens. Time goes faster the older we get, which sucks because that's when we need it the most.

Im super happy to see this update message! Funny story, when i first started reading fanfic when i was like 10 (i'm 20 now) I had my account set up on my dads email. Imagine my surprise when i get a call from my little sis telling me that this fic had updated cuz the link got sent to our dad! Anyway, just wanted to say, i would love if you updated this fic! i fell out of the Hetalia fandom awhile ago myself, but this fic always held a special place in my heart as one of the first and best USUK fics i read. I will honestly admit I do not remember this fic, it's been too long, but if I had it in my fav/follows I am sure it was because I enjoyed it very much. If you ever decide to move everything to AO3 I can assure I would care (I'm still into Hetalia after all these years I don't see a way out)!
