That was beautiful! I absolutely loved it. So subtle, yet so deep and meaningful, even romantic. You are a wonderful writer. Fantastic story, thank you!

Absolutely beautiful. I was literally squealing like a give year old the entire time through, it was ridiculous. I love your style of writing, really brings out the best in Ianto and Jack. Cutie pies.

I really liked this. The pacing, in particular, is excellent.
Stossle chapter 1 . 4/29/2011
That is absolutely beautiful. You have captured both their personalities and included such perfect imagery. It is rare that I read anything of such quality on ff. Well done. I'll have to see what else you have written now. Although this could definitely be the start of a story rather than an entire story.
ForeverBossy26 chapter 1 . 3/27/2011

Twinchy chapter 1 . 3/10/2011
In all honesty, this was hands down one of the best Torchwood fanfics I've ever read so far, Ana!

The characters rang very true to the show, even to the point where I actually 'heard' them say your lines. Plus, the idea for this story is sound within the setting, very well thought-out and written.

Whereas your set-up, what with the Weevil hunt, made for a thrilling start, you never left the tender moments out. And they broke my heart in sympathy for Ianto's aching heart and his keen loss (the previous ones and Jack's), even though the Captain at least came back again after some time.

And then there was Jack who I felt cared really deeply for Ianto, and after realizing his partner's pending break-down due to injury and exhaustion, did his level best to make it all better once more.

Taking the younger man's reaction into account, he appreciated the little gestures to no end, and Jack truly went out of his way to show how much he himself appreciated Ianto - and not only as the employee but also as his partner.

One word: a.w.e.s.o.m.e.!

You never fail to amaze me! *faints*

Gosh! I just... I fully just sat here for a few minutes speechless, staring at the screen... letting it all sink in...

Every word was chosen with care, and perfect skill - I adore the way you show, not tell - it's one of things that so many struggle with, but which you succeed at brilliantly! And although I am the hugest fan of boys crying... the fact that Ianto didn't cry was so much more magical and powerful, and poignant! And that Jack didn't get overly soppy either... it was purely true to their characters. Even the way you wrote, about the suits for example, reflected the way Ianto thinks! Everything! Just... GAH! :D

I seriously could study this just like a piece of literature for my English course :D Hence the long previous paragraph... I just LOVE your work, and WHEN you publish something one day, I'll be first in line at your signing ;) xox
