Nice story! I now have this hilarious picture of Mystique behind a principal's desk, and the scene with Kurt and Scott using their powers to steal cake from each other was hilarious (I wonder what happened to the cake). The beginning of the story is also great for its 'normalness'- these are students with powers, but they're also still students, liable to fall asleep in class, do badly on tests, insult each other, and gather to watch a fight.

However, my favorite thing is definitely the way everyone responds to Professor X- the students instantly falling silent and giving way, Scott stopping cold at his name (I like the voice description), the students dispersing (nice word, 'revered'), Scott with the guilty posture (incidentally, I agree that Scott seems the type to be in trouble rarely but spectacularly), and the talking like that, and the 'sir' at the end.

I'm really disappointed in the professor. Why is he not concerned as to the cause of Scott's exhaustion that made him prone to losing control in the first place? Why hasn't he been sleeping? What if he's suffering insomnia because he's getting headaches that could be affecting or affected by his power? So X disciplined Scott for a symptom without looking into the root cause. Not impressed with the guy.

Okay, I have a pervert mind. I thought you would twist it so that Kurt and Scott would start being more than friends, like Kurt crying over being beaten and Scott just being sorry and such. Haha, I totally got the pedophile vibes from the professor. Something didn't feel right about that scene. I love your way to discribe things and everything feels really real, not like something that actually just have been made up, but something that just played out by itself.

I wouldn't mind at all if you decided to make a second chapter with some Kurt/scott in it. ;) Hehe, okay, doesn't have to have slash in it. But another chapter would be awesome! I like this fanfic very much. Great work!
