I like how you have Mitchum stick to his guns, rather than buckle under the narrative that Rory is too special for anything other than greatness. I think you wrote him very in character- glad Rory is doing something she's good at, feels no ill-will toward her or the Gilmore's, and not dazzled and/or amused by everything Lorelai and Rory do/say. That seems to me exactly what he'd be like.

It's refreshing to see a story where Rory is not the ace reporter for the N.Y. times after a year on the job. A very realistic portrayal of what most likely happened to Rory. Also glad to see the elder Gilmore came to his senses and realized that Mitchum was not trying to hurt Rory. but trying to give her constructive criticism.

Loved the drama between lorelai & Mitchum

I thought the whole idea behind this story was super creative and fun. There was definitely even times that you could have made each a story in their own right, not just one shots. Thanks for sharing.

I totally thought it was Serena until the name Vanessa popped up. Forgot about her. Oops! Oh well, at least it makes sense now. Couldn't really picture Serena with Jess, even though can is kind of like Jess.

Hmm, this was pretty mature of Dean. Man, the Jess that wrote the book seems to be very different than the Jess in chapter one that seems to be pleased with his V. But then again I always though Jess was living in his own alternate reality. So him writing this book makes me think it's right on track with his character. It's nice to see Dean in a better place. Please update soon. I am still hoping you do a sequel or a part two of people giving input on their opinion of Rory and Logan's relationship in the future when they are still happy and in love... I want to see if people's opinion change or not. Well mainly I want to see Jess and Lindsay get their just desserts and dose of reality when it comes to the two of them.

I liked this chapter, it was really good. It's nice to see Dean has moved on- literally moved away from Stars Hollow and on from Rory.

The part about Jess's book being a Dawson imitation was funny. And I liked how the characters in the book are portrayed as they are in fics- a drug addict and an alcoholic. So Jess writes bad fanfiction? Lol. I took that as you making fun of/referencing it anyway, and appreciated the meta-humor of it.

Wow, I can't imagine why Jess's book wasn't on the ny times best sellers list. I'm glad deans moving on with his life, so is it really the end? No more chapters?

I really liked this chapter, it was well written, and the Rory-hate was cathartic to read.

Yes! I loved how you tied in that the actress played Lexi on TVD. I'm glad you gave that to Lindsey. I agree I thought it was so strange that the adults pretty much ignored the role that Rory had in the affair. Granted Dean seemed to have gotten a free pass too with working at Doose's and construction for Tom. So who knows. But I would have to say you never really got to see Rory interacting with people her age besides Lane and Bryan and Zach. And let's be honest they were going to be nice to Rory because she was Lane's bestie. However, that being said. I love Rory and Logan together. So I would really like Lindsey NOT to get her wish and read about their divorce in a few years. PLEASE do a sequel to at least show them still happily married and (Lindsey getting fat and eating bon bons?) I don't really care if she gets fat or ends up having a successful acting career. I would just like for her to realize that Rory and Logan are real couple! That has overcome so much and have lots of love with each other! Anyways, back to the chapter. I noticed Lindsey said hope you have a good wedding and not marriage. Oh well, honestly Lindsey seems to be doing a lot better than if she was just going to be a housewife to Dean. She's going to be graduating college (something she didn't even want to do before when she was married to Dean) and has some fame from her acting gig. Shouldn't she be sending Rory a thank you note for getting her out of a dead end marriage? I thought it was interesting that you had Shane and Lindsey become good friends. It seems like they could start an "I hate Rory Gilmore" club. Shane seems like a very good friend to her though. Picking her up when she was down and very persistent, in a non-scary Paris manner. I think this is one of my favorite chapters. I loved Lindsey's perspective. It was honest and real. I really didn't like how Rory didn't have any backlash over the affair. She even continued the affair around town, and thought she hadn't done anything wrong. I'm glad that Lindsay didn't let her totally off the hook, but did accept her apology. Great chapter!

Yes you updated this! Lol this chapter wasn't just a little negative to Rory. But it's ok. I would hold a lot of blame on Rory if I were Lindsey. However, I don't think Dean was blameless. Man, I hope you do decide to do a sequel in the future because I would like Lindsey to eat her cruel words/thoughts about Rory and Logan's relationship. This was great though. I love your writing and can't wait to see what you do next!
