PenChick chapter 32 . 4/8 Hey. I know it's been years. But I just wanted to tell you that I still come back and read this story again about once a year or 6 months or so. I just really love it. I don't know if I can say why exactly, but yeah. One of my favourite fics of all time, even long after I've moved on from Hetalia. I hope you're well with everything that's happening at the moment! |
AwkwardWitch chapter 28 . 5/31/2019 England, you racist, colonising bastard, I'll end your life with my own two hands. |
AwkwardWitch chapter 1 . 5/27/2019 England, that racist, colonising, bastard. |
Allstarall chapter 30 . 7/8/2018 America can be an ass and England can be a horrible person. PoVs from the colonies. Australia’s character growth. History. Canada. Hetalia. And so goes this story. |
Aura169 chapter 32 . 6/2/2018 This is one of the best fanfictions I have ever read. I've never looked at these characters in this light before. Thank you so much for writing this! |
ILiekComicBooks chapter 32 . 9/30/2017 Wow. This fic had been an absolute roller coaster. And all I can say is... thank you for the ride. You have definitely written something really special, and it'll be in my memory for a long time. Best of luck to your future work. |
Plodimsocks chapter 32 . 4/28/2017 I think I died of happiness. This is one of the best, and most well structured Fanfictions I've ever read. The ending fills me with a childish kind of happiness. It's cute, and oddly reminiscent to scouts. You're awesome |
Guest chapter 32 . 11/5/2016 MAAAAATE |
SuperLeaf chapter 15 . 10/23/2016 When are we skipping to? *sings* the war of 1812! |
Munnamunna chapter 26 . 8/28/2016 Why did I reread this? I cannot STAND children getting hurt. England is a grade-a child abuser and god how i wish i could get my hands on him and see how he likes picking on someone who could fight back. |
Moranx3 chapter 6 . 4/22/2016 He's scaring me... |
GeekyGenius chapter 32 . 6/28/2015 Wow. This was an amazing story, and a great ride. I love how it all worked out in the end, and how you portrayed all of the characters. I thought little Zea and Aus were spot on, and I loved big brother Canada. Wales, Scotland and Ireland were awesome, especially fiesty female Ireland. That was interesting. I really loved when Scotland played his bagpipes and Aus danced, while Canada watched. My favourite part of the whole story, I think. I know the sequal is already probably written, but I might as well throw in my two cents about Australian accents. The older Australians I know all use quite a bit of slang. 'Mate, bugger, she'll be right mate' are just some of the common expressions. Most call dinner 'tea'. I can't really think of anything in particular, as I am not certain how you are used to hearing people speak to know the differences. But I'd recommend listening to 'And the band played Waltzing Matilda' and 'True blue'. They should give a better idea to the words used (and if you listen to them the style they spoke in) Thank you for another awesome story, I love all of your historical hetalia stories, and the way you delve into how the personifications handle some well known (and lesser known) historical events :) |
Krinos Bara chapter 32 . 5/8/2015 Awww, I love it! You make all the little ones sound so cute and England's siblings so nice (even Ireland). Hong Kong doing tricks for biscuits is just precious. I think it's awesome how this story centers on the British empire's relationships but isn't so deep that it makes me feel heavy. It actually makes me feel happy (Wales is such a sweetheart!) and amused (when Australia decides the household would be better with babies XD). I'm glad Australia got to go home and I'm glad England starting taking a nicer approach to his colonies. In the end, everyone's happy and I'm glad to have finally found a nice fic with a good ending. |
FireFox Vixen chapter 32 . 3/7/2015 Really good! |
FullMetalCanine chapter 29 . 2/12/2015 Also, Texas should hate Mexico. Ever heard of the Alamo? Also, in regard to why Texas wanted to become a state, The Republic of Texas had a horrible economy and, thanks to President Lamar, horrible relations with the Natives. |
