Reviews for The Butler
RandomShipper chapter 1 . 11/10/2016
This was amazing!
blackkitty95 chapter 1 . 10/20/2016
How can you possibly believe that this doesn't rock? It's a masterpiece, a work equal to Poe's, a poem that could have been written by Poe himself. Yes, it's that good. It's brilliant. I honestly can't get enough of your writing. Have you formed a contract with a demon yourself; is that why you are so talented, why everything you write is a gift to humanity?
CuriousChimera16 chapter 1 . 8/24/2016
This a wonderfully dark poem. It's amazing. It is astoundingly wonderful, and I believe that Poe himself would be proud this poem.
Dawn on fire chapter 1 . 5/26/2016
A beautiful work. The rhythm was good and I only stumbled a few times. Vivid imagery and a true tribute to both Kuroshitsuji and The Raven.
Arbietar chapter 1 . 4/14/2016
Loved it, absolutely, positively loved. You kept up with the way Poetry writes the Raven and changed it and goodness you did so good. If you think this was terrible then please show me something you like of yours because this was just so beautiful.
TheCauldron chapter 1 . 4/14/2016

This.. This was amazing... I'm like literally speechless
ThereWasColdLikeDeath chapter 1 . 4/26/2015
That was... amazing. Incredible. Great job. It's hard to take a famous work like that and alter the words but not the rhythm of the original and still tell a beautiful story.
AndreggvilJammer chapter 1 . 8/3/2014
this might be your best work. and the best poem i've read too. dare i say, you wrote this even better than edgar allan poe himself
Guest chapter 1 . 12/11/2013
nose bleed loved it D
Kiheada.Ray.T chapter 1 . 5/5/2013
.GOD. Edgar Allen Poe is my favorite poet, short story writer, and overall person in the world. I simply ADORE that man and his work, so when I say "bravo" I mean "BRAVO!"

I could never achieve the same cadence he uses in his poems, yet you accomplished this task beautifully. One of the reasons I love him is due to how his work flows and rolls off the tongue, when read aloud or in thoughts, and this poem does the same. There are a few parts where it doesn't quite flow as naturally or exquisitely, and the language at times is a bit modern, but overall it's amazing. I caught on to the Poe hints throughout the anime and manga and was overjoyed at the presence in what has soon become one of my most favorite fandoms, so to see this poem only increases my love for Black Butler.

Thank you sooooo much for writing this out and sharing it with the world! *standing ovation*
BloodColoredRose chapter 1 . 1/13/2013
oh...my sunshiney goodness, THIS WAS AMAZING! i absolutely adore the "yes, my lord," and feeling poet-ey inside all the more! ...darn it. the rhythm of this poem is getting to my head. twisted and dark and so utterly beautiful that i could just gouge out my eyes from sheer happiness as reading something so awesome. but i won't, of course, 'cause how then can i read more of your work? ANYWAYS. this was an amazing poem. i have never read "the raven", though. maybe i should. this poem makes me interested in it.

as always, fantastic job!
Motaku1235 chapter 1 . 9/16/2012
Wow. I mean just, wow.

Pretty much sums it up in a nutshell. Yup.

Seriously though, there's this site called ...it's a great site for writers who want to get stories or poems read. Consider joining! -

That's where all of my poems are shipped off to! XD

Really great. Plus I love Poe. XD

*squeals like a rabid fangirl* oh god you are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I am a HUGE Edgar Allan Poe fan and i admire (more like love) his work, but you have turned one of his wonderous timeless masterpieces into an astonishing piece of art! The poem flows so beautifully and the stanzas are done with such skill! You are one h*ll of a writer! (no pun intended)
