This is an absolutely EXCELLENT story. I kinda want to write my own post-manga Pride now...XD

I pretty much loved every line of this, how his shadows moved, his relationship with his mother, his fear of mirrors...everything. This really is an intriguing story; I absolutely love it :D Thank you for writing!

I love it! There's so much that can be speculated over with Pride/Selim...and this was such a wonderful glimpse into his mind. He's very unsure and afraid but still seems to think there's something he's not quite getting, which considering his sin, is ironic even though his reaction makes perfect sense.

"when's childhood supposed to end, anyway?" and that was...oh, I love how that line reflects how Pride always stayed in a child's form. I like this portrayal of Selim, he's still Pride but he's also a regular teenager who you can empathize with. :)

I really like this. You don't see enough things about post-manga Pride. I loved the way you described the shadows moving out of sync with him, as well as the relationship with his mother. Pride's one of my favorite characters, and I think you did a very good job characterizing him.
